The Ceres Organization is a nonprofit organization founded by Laasya Acharya, a young scientist and STEM researcher. This organization works to encourage citizens of the world to go out and solve issues with STEM and to create further awareness about food insecurity, via research, advocacy, and STEM education. |

This organization’s mission is to raise awareness about the food insecurity crisis through STEM research and advocacy. This organization provides resources and experiences to people everywhere through STEM education workshops, food insecurity awareness programs, and Ceres Research.

MEET THE FOUNDER!
Laasya is a young scientist who loves to create and innovate! She has participated in many various science competitions; she is a two-time finalist at the International Science and Engineering Fair, a Silver Medalist at the GENIUS Olympiad, and a Fourth Place Awardee at the National Junior Science & Humanities Symposium.
Laasya is also a strong advocate for young scientists, who she believes have a duty to step up and contribute to the world's future. Encouraging youth to continue to innovate and change the world through science and advocacy is so incredibly important.
Laasya developed the Ceres research as a way to find another possible solution to the issue of wide-spread malnourishment. To help aid this cause, she also created the Ceres Organization as a way to promote further interest in STEM and solutions to world hunger.
